Internet Integrative Lesson - StoryTIME
Objectives:
Overview: Speech and presentation in English for second language learners needs to have pronunciation and speaking practice as part of the activities. This particular activity combines elements of story making, gameplay, and speaking practice using Internet tools.
Objectives:
Relative Advantage: This seemingly simple activity makes speaking practice a low risk activity (compared to face video activities). Combined with the practice of the storyline arc and inferential thinking will help them when constructing their own speech outlines, and will develop the vocal variety needed for English presentations.
Objectives:
- Students will used their inferential skills to interpret an online animated game story.
- Students will create speaking outlines based on what they see and what they imagine and create their own story.
- Students will record their unique story using online recording software.
